Reventos 2016 Blanc de Blancs, Conca del Riu: This wine opens with a bouquet of aromas that range from bright green apples to white flowers to hints of toffee and brulee. On the palate this wine is round and inviting with notes of lemon curd, refreshing apples and bright acidity above a creamy and incredibly long finish. Pair with oysters on a half shell.
Maison 2015 Passot Morgon, Beaujolais: This wine opens on the nose of delicate blue fruits and violettes, on the palate this wine combines elegance and finesse with a fleshy texture and wet rock minerality. The mouthfeel has a rich and silky body, that evolves with time to include intriguing spicy notes and hints of roasted fennel. Pair this wine with smoked meats and soft cheeses.
XXVI Pleiades Red Blend, Sebastopol: This wine opens with aromas of cherries, gingerbread cookies and rose petals. This wine is smooth and round but bright and tangy, showcasing flavors of cranberries, raspberries, blood oranges and spicecake. The mouthfeel is balanced and the finish lingers harmoniously. Enjoy this wine with braised beef short ribs and creamy polenta.
