’17 Domaine de l’ Oliver Muscadet, Loire: This wine opens with bright citrus flavors and citrus aromas (lemon-lime, grapefruit, orange). A balanced acidity enhances the fruit flavors and provides a fresh, crisp finish. Pair this wine with linguini and garlic shrimp with lemon zest.

’16 Chateau Bonadona, Ventoux: This wine pours into the glass with deep purple and brick colors. It explodes aromas of ripe currant, red berries, and smokey notes. This wine is rich, powerful, and has a huge mouthful of crème-de-cassis, silky and juicy in the mid-palate with excellent length and persistence, and a long spicy well-balanced finish including toasted notes provided by the French oak. Pair this wine with lamb curry and basmati rice.

’14 Chateau Moya, Bourdeaux: This wine exhibits a glass-coating opaque purple color with an expressive nose of toasted bread, blueberry, and blackberries, wet earth, and broad tannins. This is an opulent wine with great density and savory flavors that finish with length and structure. Pair this wine with a grilled steak with morel mushrooms and garlic mashed potatoes.
