’17 Verdelho: This wine opens with bright aromas of yellow citrus, fresh pineapple and a touch of pear. It’s bright and zesty and it expands mid-palate with tons of lemons. On the palate this wine boasts flavors of white pears, gala apples and a crisp acidity of tangelo zest. Pair this wine with a crab-avocado salad with a lemon vinaigrette.
’15 Chardonnay: This wine opens on the nose with intense aromas of nectarines, figs and peaches framed by a soft and elegant acid frame. This wine bursts in the palate with ripe honeydew, tart gooseberries and hints of toasted hazelnuts with a delicate vanilla finish. Pair this wine with braised chicken in ginger, lemon grass and coconut milk.
’14 Cabernet Sauvignon: This wine opens with vibrant aromas of ripe blueberries and blackberry jam and has a subtle but precise note of black licorice. With a broad mouthfeel, this wine offers a layered palate of red and black fruit with intertwined profiles of wild sage, French vanilla and baking spice that creates a harmonious sipping experience followed by notes of mocha and cedar. The finish on this wine is long and persistent. Pair this wine with a grilled t-bone steak and Herbs de Provence potatoes.
